Khuchap Monastery is one of the most impressive examples of medieval architecture in our region. The main church of Khuchap Monastery was built in the 13th century. The Khuchap Monastery, is now near Armenian-Georgian border, in the Lori province of the RA, is close to Privolnoe and Jiliza villages.
Not far from Khuchap is the Apostolic Monastery of Khorakert, which, however, is already within the current borders of Georgia.
