DAY 1 | TO THE SLOPES OF MT ARARAT
Departure from Yerevan
Lake Childir
Ani: City tour, churches, and other monuments
Araks river
Dinner in Dogubeyazit Overnight: Dogubeyazit.




DAYS OF CLIMBING | 2-3-4-5
Day 2: From hotel to Base Camp 1
Transfer from the hotel in Dogubayazit at 2200 meters (with minibusses). Then we will ascend to Base Camp 1 at 3200 meters (equipment is transported by pack animals). We will enjoy our dinner with hot tea and have a rest.
Day 3: From Base Camp 1 to Camp 2
We will start our hiking in the morning. We will climb to Camp 2 at 4200 meters (equipment is transported by pack animals). We will have our dinner and prepare ourselves to reach Mount Ararat's summit the following day (midnight).
Day 4: Summit Day
We will start climbing very early (about 1AM). After 5 to 6 hours trekking, we reach Mount Ararat summit (5137 m) and fully enjoy it with its stunning views. Afterwards, we will return to Camp 2, have a little rest, have our meal, and pack our equipment to hike to Base Camp 1 for overnight.
Day 5: Goodbye to Mountain!
In the morning, we will start to descend to 2200 meters, where minibusses wait for us. We will go to our hotel and prepare for the Western Armenia tour! And let the trip begin! We will visit Berkri Waterfall, Daroink (Bayazet) Fortress, and stay in Van, as You can find below.









DAY 5 | BERKRI AND BAYAZET
After arriving at Bayazet and some rest, we will explore Bayazet Fortress, also known as Daroink Fortress. This historical fortress will impress You! Then, we will have lunch and continue our road to the stunning Berkri Waterfall. Today we will stay in Van.

DAY 6 | VAN AND AGHTAMAR
Our incredible journey continues! We will explore Van Fortress, one of the oldest fortresses in the world. Mher's Door is a vital place to visit. We will see Van Cats with different eye colors. The most emotional part of our trip awaits us: we will go by boat to Aghtamar Island of Lake Van to visit the fantastic Holy Cross medieval church. We will have time to swim in Lake Van and eat local fish. Today we will stay in Mush.

DAY 7 | BACK TO ARMENIA
Mush is very sweet, so let's explore it. We will visit the historical Armenian neighborhood where St Marine Church is standing. Then, we will see Sulukh Bridge, built on Aratsani (Eastern Euphrates) River. In Basen, we will see the Hoviv Bridge on the Araks River. We will pass the forests of Sarighamish to reach Kars, where we will explore this beautiful city. Then, we will return to Yerevan.
