Among the most beautiful corners of the Armenian Highlands, the highest peak of the Kordvats Mountains, mount JILO, awaits us. The mountain, which has been completely closed for mountaineering for many years, has become accessible to us and will accept those who dream of reaching its summit. Jilo (Jogha) is one of the highest peaks of Armenian highlands, with a height of 4116 meters, it is on the border of present-day Turkey and Iraq, in Hakkar Province. 

The ascent of Jilo is difficult, the mountaineering experience of the participant and full mountain gear are mandatory.

Passing Gyumri, Bavra, Javakhk (Georgia)

DAY 2 - 3 - 4

Ascent from the climb to the top of Jilo

Overnight: Jilo camp and Yuksekova

The hiking distance from the starting point of the ascent (about 2000 meters above sea level) to the camp is about 7 km, the relative altitude is about 1000 meters. The hiking distance from the camp to the top is 5 km, the relative height is about 1100 meters. The height of the mountain is 4116 meters.
