KHORANASHAT AND NOR VARAGAVAN MONASTERIES (HIKING)

On this exclusive trip, we will see monasteries Nor Varagavank and Khoranashat, two of the wonders of Tavush. First, we will visit Nor Varagavank with its unique architecture and impressive location, and after enjoying it, we will continue our way to Chinari village. From the village of Chinari, we will hike to one of the most important monuments of Armenian history, the mysterious and magnificent Khoranashat Monastery. It is in the immediate vicinity of the border and is accessible with a special permit, which the participants of our expedition will have on that day.

Hike distance is 6 km (round trip). You must have hiking shoes and hiking clothes.
