SHATIVANK MONASTERY AND YEGHEGIS (HIKING)

One of Armenian medieval important monastic complexes is the mysterious and impressive Shativank. This impressive monastery is distinguished by its great importance. To discover and enjoy this miracle, we start our interesting hike from Shatin village of Vayots Dzor Region, passing through beautiful scenery. Moreover, we will not miss the opportunity of our journey to see the Yeghegis Zorats Temple, one of Armenian most unique, wonderful monuments. At the same time we will see Surb Nshan Church in Yeghegis.

Hike distance is 8 km (round trip). You must have hiking shoes and hiking clothes.
