SMBATABERD FORTRESS AND YEHEGIS (HIKING)

Our wonderful trip to the treasures of Vayots Dzor promises to be extremely impressive. We will start our hike to the mighty and impressive Smbataberd Fortress from the village Artabuynk in Vayots Dzor. The Saint Nshan and Zorats monasteries in Yeghegis village can be seen from Smbataberd. After fully enjoying Smbataberd, we will continue our hike to Yeghegis village, where the Zorats Cathedral is. This trip is part of Hamshen Tour's special project "Armenian Fortresses and Castles".

Hike distance is 8 km (round trip). You must have hiking shoes and hiking clothes.
