VEDI FORTRESS, KHOR VIRAP, ARTASHAT (HIKING)

During this wonderful trip, we will be under the magnifying glass from the historical capital to the medieval fortress. During our unique visit, we will walk in the historical Artashat area surrounding the Khor Virap Monastery (not to be confused with our other Historical Artashat exclusive tour, during which we go beyond the barbed wire), as well as hike to the medieval fortress of Vedi, from where, in good weather, impressive views open up to Mt Ararat and the Ararat Valley. An interesting, meaningful trip, where an easy hike and a historical and cultural part are combined.

The easy hike to the Vedi fortress will be about 5 km round trip. Hiking gear and shoes are preferable.
