ARTIK, PEMZASHEN, LERNAKERT, HARICH, LMBAT

We will start our visit with the magnificent monastery of Harichavank, which will be followed by Artik with its valuable medieval churches of St Gevorg and St Astvatsatsin, and Lmbatavank with its unique frescoes. In the village Pemzashen, which is rich in historical monuments, we will start our impressive visit with the three-altar church of Pemzashen, then we will continue to Makaravank, St Astvatsatsin Monastery, after which we will go to the well-preserved monuments of the early Christian period. In Pemzashen, the Apostles’ Monastery, which stands out with its very impressive and unique location, is waiting for us. The last stop of the day will be in the unique Church of Sarnaghbyur.
