MAKARAVANK, MORO DZORO MONASTERY, IJEVAN DENDROPARK, VARDAN’S

We will discover one of the most beautiful corners of Armenia, Tavush, with our exclusive program, during which you will have the opportunity to enjoy not only the historical and cultural treasures hidden in the mountains, but also the city of Ijevan and the wonderful nature of Tavush. Arriving in Ijevan, we will make the first stop at the Holy Savior Church, which is located in the old quarter of the city. We will continue our journey to another wonder of Ijevan, Moro Dzoro or Tsrviz monastery. Then, the famous Vardan’s tree of Aknaghbyur village is waiting for us, which, according to tradition, was planted by Vardan Mamikonian. However, this is not all. We will visit the Makaravank Monastery, with its impressive location, rich historical past and legends. We will end our trip at the Dendropark of Ijevan, one of the most interesting corners of Tavush, where you can find more than 600 species of plants and trees brought from different corners of the world.
