Hamshen is one of the greatest wonders of nature. At the same time, Hamshen and its surroundings are rich in many historical monuments: medieval fortresses, wonderful churches, and bridges. Passing through Bavra and Georgia, we will enter Ardahan, from where we will pass to the forested Shavshat province. First, we will go to Lake Black (Karagol), one of the wonders of the beautiful forests of Shavshat. After the Black Lake, in Shavshat, we will visit one of the magnificent temples built by the Bagratunis, Tbet Monastery, then we will also see the famous local fortress, as well as enjoy the wonderful nature of the surroundings from the top of the fortress. Our way will continue to Artvin. Soon we will have a stop at the famous Chorokh River viewpoint, from where we will enjoy one of the four most important rivers of the Armenian highlands, Chorokh and the panoramic view of the city Artvin. After all this, we will continue our way to the coast of the Black Sea, where Hopa is located.

Ayder: free time
In the morning, after breakfast with a panoramic view of the Black Sea, we will go to discover the wonders of the Hamshen world. First, we will see one of Hamshen's wonders, the Twin Bridges, and then we will walk (about 2 km overall) to the wonderful and impressive Manjuna Waterfall, hidden in the forests. Then, we will enter the Fortuna River Gorge, which will provide a new dose of impressions. We will see the wonderful bridges of Hamshen, we will climb Zil fortress, which is one of the most impressive fortresses in the world. Not far away is the waterfall of Balahovit, the sound of the waterfall can be heard from quite a distance. We will visit Ayder's famous yayla, which is a tourist center with its beautiful forests, falling waterfalls, unique architecture, Hamshen costumes, and interesting music typical of the area. In Ayder, we will taste Hamshen dishes, as well as in the heart of Hamshen, we will enjoy the legendary Hamshen tea. After enjoying the views of Ayder and the surrounding Kachkar mountains, we will return to our hotel on the Black Sea coast.

Ardahan: Kura River and Ardahan fortress
On the third day of our trip, we will pass through Borchka province and see the Chorokh River from above. We will see the wonderful beauty of the reservoirs of Chorokh River. After the wonderful landscapes, we will visit another medieval church Doliskhana, which is an impressive structure with an excellent location. Then we will go to the historical Ardanuch, which is one of the most important places in Armenian history. In Ardanuch, we will see the Hell Canyon. In Ardahan, we will visit the local strong fortress, from the height of which we will see Ardahan and the Kura river. Then, passing through other wonderful places, we will return to Yerevan.
