ERTIJ FORTRESS AND JROVANK MONASTERY (HIKING)

This time we will go to Ertij Fortress and Jrovank Monastery in Vayots Dzor Province. We will start our impressive hike from the village Arpi, hiking to the Ertij Fortress, which is partially preserved, distinguished by its beautiful location and wonderful views from the fortress. Then we will continue our hike from Ertij Fortress to the mysterious Jrovank Monastery, which is a rock-cut monument, with a beautiful combination of river and rocks. We will also see a very beautiful waterfall, after which we will return to Arpi village.

Hike distance is 6 km (round trip). You must have hiking shoes and hiking clothes.
