HARANTS DESERT AND OLD SHINUHAYR (HIKING)

Vorotan Gorge is one of the most impressive corners not only of Armenia, but also of the world. Here is a very rich and valuable historical heritage. And Harants Desert, one of the most famous monasteries in the Syunik, will be the main point of our wonderful hike. We will walk from the village of Shinuhayr, discovering the Old Shinuhayr with its stone houses, churches and khachkars, many interesting stories, then passing the Vorotan River, we will find the mysterious and impressive Harants Desert.

Hike distance is 17 km (round trip), relative height: about 800 meters. You must have hiking shoes and hiking clothes.
