Detailed Program

DAY 1 | SWEET MUSH

We will pass along the shores of the Tsovakn Lake, taking the road to Mush. We will pass through the evergreen forests of Sarikamish, after which we will go to sweet Mush. We will visit the Saint Marine Church. Then, crossing the field of Mush, we reach the banks of the river Aratsani (Eastern Euphrates) and Surukh Bridge, the place where Gevorg Chavush fought his last battle.

DAY 2 | THE OLD GODS

Passing through the legendary Khulp region of Sassoon, we will reach Tigranakert-Diyarbekir. After we will reach the Euphrates River, which feeds Mesopotamia and is one of the important rivers of Armenian civilization. The main, expected stop of the day is the mysterious Nemrut.

DAY 3 | THE GATES OF CILICIA

We will start our day with a visit to the fortress of Levonkla, after which we will go to the Mediterranean Sea, where the unrepeatable seashore awaits us.

DAY 4 - 5 - 6 - 7 | CILICIA

It is wonderful when you are relaxing on the golden sandy beach of the Mediterranean Sea, and when Korykos, one of the most powerful fortresses of Cilician Armenia, is right in front of you, on the island, the picture is perfect. During this time, you can not only relax, swim in the Mediterranean Sea, but also participate in excursions to various wonders of Cilician Armenia.

DAY 7 | MAGICAL CAPPADOCIA

In the morning, those who wish can once again swim in the Mediterranean Sea, after which we will already go to the magical Cappadocia, where we will see the masterpieces of nature and man. We will see rocks characteristic of Cappadocia, ancient castles, and you can use your free time to walk around Goreme, which is in the heart of Cappadocia. Those who wish can board the famous hot air balloons at sunrise and enjoy Cappadocia from the height of a bird's flight.

DAY 8 | HIDDEN TREASURES

After breakfast in the morning (those who want balloon flight leave at sunrise and return around breakfast) we will set off for Caesarea and Yerznka. In Caesarea, we will see the famous Church of St. Gregory the Illuminator, which is a functioning Armenian church. After Caesarea we will pass through Sebastia. From Sebastia we will go to Yerznka, where we will spend the night. Here we will also see the impressive Yerznka waterfall.

DAY 9 | KARS

On the way back from Yerznka, we will visit the bridge of Hoviv and the Araks river. The trip to Kars is special. The fortress of Kars dominates not only the city, but also the surrounding area. After overcoming the fortress of Kars, the panorama of the once miraculous Armenian city opens before you, where the suffering but powerful St Apostles Church has its unique place. And in Kars we will also visit Vardan's Bridge and House of Yeghishe Charents.
