GNDEVANK MONASTERY, ARPA GORGE, GNDEVAZ FORTRESS AND CHURCH (HIKING)

Arpa River Gorge is one of the most beautiful corners of Armenia. Moreover, not only the most magnificent landscapes await us, but also the rich and interesting historical heritage. During this impressive visit, we will see one of Armenian most unique monuments, Gndevank Monastery. We will start our beautiful hike from the village Gndevaz (Vayots Dzor Province), where we will see the church of St. Astvatsatsin and the Fortress. Then, we will go from Gndevaz to the Arpa gorge with beautiful trails, where we will see the unique Gndevank Monastery with its unique history and great location. After fully enjoying the wonderful Gndevank, we will climb the beautiful paths to the village of Gndevaz, where our wonderful hike will end.

Hike distance is 5 km (round trip). You must have hiking shoes and hiking clothes.
