SHKHMURAD AND NOR VARAGAVANK MONASTERIES (HIKING)

A wonderful hike , which combines beautiful scenery and forests, as well as a unique historical monument, Shkhmurad Monastery. The way to reach the impressive monastery of Shkhmurad in the heart of Tavush is beautiful and unique. We will also visit Nor Varagavank Monastery, making our visit more interesting. From Verin Tsaghkavan village we will start hiking to Shkhmurad Monastery, then we will return to the same village, after which we will visit Nor Varagavank.

Hike distance is 12 km (round trip). You must have hiking shoes and hiking clothes.
