Uzbekistan is a land of rich history and unique culture, magnificent architecture and delicious cuisine, colourful Oriental bazaars and warm, hospitable people. We will discover all of this together during our exciting eight-day journey.
The jewels of the Silk Road — Samarkand, Bukhara and Khiva — are ready to captivate us with their rich medieval heritage, remarkable architecture and mysterious atmosphere. Our journey will also take us to Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, with its historic monuments, vibrant modern life and distinctive Eastern charm.
Citizens of the Republic of Armenia do not need a visa to visit Uzbekistan. We will travel from Yerevan on a direct flight, while the hospitality of the local people, the country’s rich culture and its delicious cuisine will make our unique journey even more memorable.
DAY 1 | YEREVAN — TASHKENT

Early in the morning, we will depart from Yerevan on a direct flight to Tashkent. After a flight of approximately three hours, we will head to our hotel and spend the remainder of the day exploring the capital of Uzbekistan.
During our fascinating city tour, we will discover both the historic and modern faces of Tashkent, see the city’s main squares and visit a colourful Oriental bazaar and historic mosques.
DAY 2 | TASHKENT — SAMARKAND

Samarkand city tour: Registan Square, Gur-e-Amir, Bibi-Khanym, Shah-i-Zinda and Siab Bazaar;

overnight in Samarkand.
In the morning, we will travel from Tashkent to Samarkand by high-speed train and begin exploring this extraordinary city with its remarkable historical heritage.
We will see the symbol of Samarkand and one of Uzbekistan’s most famous landmarks — the magnificent Registan Square. We will also visit the Gur-e-Amir Mausoleum, the Bibi-Khanym complex, Shah-i-Zinda and the colourful, vibrant Siab Bazaar.
DAY 3 | SAMARKAND

Today, we will continue exploring Samarkand and gain a deeper understanding of the city’s history, architecture and culture.
New visits to historic monuments, mausoleums and museums await us, along with an opportunity to enjoy Samarkand’s unique atmosphere and vibrant Eastern city life.
DAY 4 | SAMARKAND — BUKHARA

Bukhara city tour: Ark Fortress, Poi Kalyan, Lyabi-Hauz and Chor Minor;

In the morning, we will leave Samarkand by high-speed train and travel to the next jewel of the Silk Road — Bukhara.
During our city tour, we will explore Bukhara’s historic centre, visit the imposing Ark Fortress and the Poi Kalyan and Lyabi-Hauz complexes, and see the beautiful Chor Minor, historic mosques, madrasas and other exceptional architectural landmarks.
DAY 5 | BUKHARA

overnight in Bukhara.
Today, we will continue exploring Bukhara, a city distinguished by thousands of years of history and rich layers of cultural heritage.
We will walk through the historic quarters of the city, discover more monuments, colourful bazaars and medieval structures, and experience more deeply the unique atmosphere of one of the most important cities along the Silk Road.
DAY 6 | BUKHARA — KHIVA

first city tour of Khiva: Itchan Kala, Kalta Minor, Kunya Ark and Juma Mosque;

overnight in Khiva.
In the morning, we will travel from Bukhara to Khiva by train. After checking in at our hotel, we will set out on our first tour of this wonderful city with its rich history.
We will enter Itchan Kala, Khiva’s walled old city, and see the colourful Kalta Minor, the Kunya Ark citadel, the remarkable Juma Mosque and many other historical and architectural treasures.
DAY 7 | KHIVA — URGENCH — TASHKENT

transfer from Khiva to Urgench;

flight from Urgench to Tashkent;

overnight in Tashkent.
We will devote the first part of the day once again to the enchanting city of Khiva. We will continue our walk along the medieval streets of Itchan Kala and discover more palaces, mosques, madrasas and other fascinating landmarks.
We will then transfer from Khiva to Urgench and fly to Tashkent. The final night of our journey will be spent in the capital of Uzbekistan.
DAY 8 | TASHKENT — YEREVAN

direct flight from Tashkent to Yerevan.
Early in the morning, we will leave our hotel and head to Tashkent International Airport, from where we will take a direct flight back to Yerevan, bringing home wonderful memories of our unforgettable days in Uzbekistan.
