BOLNISI AND TSUGRUGASHENI

We will discover five of the unique treasures of the north of Lori (Marneuli region of Georgia) together during our wonderful trip. We will visit the city of Bolnisi, an extremely colorful and unique city, where we can see two-hundred-year-old German houses in the Katerinenfeld area. We will visit one of the most impressive early Christian monuments, St. Sion's Cathedral of Bolnisi, which is one of the oldest and most important monuments of its kind. Another stunning and extremely impressive monument is the Tsugrugasheni Church. We will also visit the local St. Gevorg early Christian Church in Bolnisi village. St. Poghos Petros Monastery is built on a hill dominating Bolnisi and its surroundings. The departure and return will be through the Armenian-Georgian border checkpoint of Gogavan, it is mandatory to have a passport.
