MT SUKAVET AND MT KOGHBASAR

One of the most beautiful peaks of the Armenian Highlands and the Armenian Par mountain range, the symbol of Alashkert, Sukavet Mountain, is calling, along with which two more exceptional climbs are expected: Koghbasar / Bardogh Mountain, as well as the legendary Npat Mountain. Along with the three beautiful peaks of the Armenian Par mountain range, Gaylutu Lake is also planned, the highest among the large lakes in the Armenian Highlands. We will also specially highlight the visit to the Bagavan Temple at the foot of Npat Mountain, the passage through the Dzirav Plain, and the visit to the Diyadin Hot Springs.

DAY 1: Lake in the mountains

According to tradition, we will begin our impressive journey from the shores of Lake Tsovakn Hyusiso (Childyr), after which we will reach Bayazet and Aghre along the banks of the Mother Araks and the slopes of Masis. Today, another important and interesting stop awaits us - we will visit the highest large lake in the Armenian Highlands, the legendary Lake Gaylatu, the beauty of Armenian dance.

DAY 2: The Perfection of Dance

Early in the morning, the car will take us from the hotel to one of the villages of Alashkert, from where we will begin the climb to one of the most beautiful mountains of Armenian dance, enjoy the experience of reaching the top and return to the same starting point, then have a well-earned rest.
The two-way length of the Sukavet mountain hike is about 12 km, the relative altitude is about 1200 meters, the height of the mountain is 3434 meters.

DAY 3: Old New Year and the legendary field

And of course, today we will visit one of the most important holy places in Armenian history from the pagan period to Christianity - the Bagavan Temple, after which we will also pass through the Dzirav field. And, of course, ascent to Npat Mountain, which is one of the most legendary mountains in Armenian history.
The two-way length of the Npat Mountain hike is about 5 km, the relative height is about 300 meters.

DAY 4: The Exclusive of Pari

Return Kars-Akhalkalaki-Gyumri-Yerevan.

On the day of return, fantastic moments await us. We will climb to the top of Koghbasar, have a stop on the banks of the Mother Arax.
The two-way length of the Koghbasar hike is 3 km, the relative altitude is 250 meters, the height of the mountain is 2562 meters. Although the climb is not long, it has rock climbing sections.
