MARTIROS CAVE CHURCH, WATERFALL AND LAKE (HIKING)

One of our impressive hikes to discover the wonders of Vayots Dzor Province is to the unique Martiros Village, where we will discover both man-made treasures and masterpieces of nature. First, from the Old Martiros Village we will hike to the medieval cave church of Martiros, which is the second largest of its kind after Geghard Monastery. Here you can see ancient khachkars. In addition to the cave church, on our interesting hike we will see the refreshing waterfall of Martiros, as well as the cozy Lake Chumov, which has a small island.

Hike distance is 9 km (round trip). You must have hiking shoes and hiking clothes.
