Sarduri's rock inscription
Tour in Sarighamish city
Ekaterina's hunting house
Dinner in Sarighamish or Kars
Overnight: Sarighamish or KarsOn the shores of Lake Tsovakn Hyusiso (Childir) we will see the rock inscription of the Urartian king Sarduri. We will continue our journey to Kars and Sarighamish, where we will see the wooden hunting house of Nikolai, which is called Ekaterina's house.
DAY 2

Kyorogli Fortress (easy hike, 3 km)
Trin Monastery (hike, 14 km)
Dinner in Sarighamish or Kars
Overnight: Sarighamish or KarsToday we will visit another unique medieval fortress, which is known today as Fortress of Koroghli. We will reach the fortress with an easy hike, the dominant position and structure of which are stunning. After this we will hike the legendary Trin Monastery, located in the Sarighamish forests, which also has an impressive rock church. The hike through the evergreen forests and this monument will provide us with indelible impressions. A truly beautiful and historical day.
DAY 3

Zvin Fortress
Mzhnkert Fortress and Rock Churches (hiking, 6 km)
Lunch in Kars or Javakhk
Return to YerevanThe last day we will visit Zvin Fortress after which the mysterious Mzhnkert awaits us, which was a settlement in the Middle Ages, famous for its cave houses and rock pyramid-shaped churches. In Mzhnkert, we will discover the powerful fortress, and then we will have a wonderful hike in the Mzhnkert Gorge to discover the rock-hewn Armenian churches, as well as enjoy nature.
