ASCENT TO MT AZHDAHAK AND PETROGLYPHS

The highest peak of Geghama mountains, the impressive and mysterious Azhdahak/Ajdahak, is waiting for you. We will start our hike from the village of Geghard, from where we will reach a place closer to the mountain by truck, and then we will start our wonderful ascent to the peak of Mt Ajdahak. And at the top of Azhdaha of Geghama mountains, the crater lake and breathtaking views await us. On the way back, we will also see the rock paintings that go the deepest in history.

Hike distance is 14 km (round trip), relative height: about 550 meters, mountain height: 3597 meters. You must have hiking shoes and hiking clothes. We will cross a part of the road by truck.
