SAMSHVILDE AND BOLNISI (HIKING)

In the territory of the Samshvilde ancient site, you can find many churches, khachkars, as well as extremely powerful fortress walls. We will start our hike from the Armenian village of Samshvilde (Georgia), where we will finish it. In addition to discovering Samshvilde, surrounded by beautiful gorges and forests, we will also visit the highly distinguished and colorful town of Bolnisi, where you can find giant German houses of the 19th century, which give a special charm to this settlement, whose multi-ethnic inhabitants including Armenians. The departure and return will be through the Armenian-Georgian border checkpoint, it is mandatory to have a passport.

Hike distance is 6 km (round trip). You must have hiking shoes and hiking clothes.
