BJNII FORTRESS AND MONASTERY, TEZHARUYK, HANKAVAN WATERFALL (EASY HIKING)
Our trip, which will be accompanied by interesting hikes, is the best opportunity to discover Tezharyuk Monastery, one of the lesser-known, but wonderful and impressive monastic complexes of Kotayk and Armenia. We will stop at Bjni to enjoy the rich historical heritage of the place. In Bjni we will see St. Astvatsatsin Church, as well as the fortress of Bjni, after which we will continue our way to the beautiful Tezharyuk Monastery, to reach which we need a short hike through the green forests. We will continue our way to Hankavan, enjoying the wonderful view of the Marmarik Reservoir on the way. And here we will enjoy our free time in the forests of Hankavan, also discovering the local waterfall.
The hike will be about 4 km in total. Hiking gear and hiking boots are a must.
