AKHTAMIR FORTRESS AND ASHTARAK (EASY HIKING)

We will start our trip from Ashtarak, visiting the local churches of Spitakavor, Karmravor, Tsiranavor, St. Mariane, we will see the ancient bridge, and we will admire the beautiful view of the city from the height of St. Sargis Church. After Ashtarak we will go to the village of Voskevaz, from where we will start our simple and beautiful hike to the ancient site of Akhtamir. Here we will see fortresses, churches, other structures, and we will also enjoy the unique views of the Kasakh Gorge. This trip is part of Hamshen Tour's special project "Armenian Fortresses and Castles".
