How long does it take to reach Turkey?
From Yerevan it takes approximately 4.5-5 hours to reach the Turkish border (with Georgia). We pass through Gyumri and Bavra in Armenia to enter Georgia, then via the Javakhk region we reach Kartsakh village, where border crossing point is located.
What documents do I need to enter Turkey and get a Turkish visa?
First, you need a valid passport. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months upon your arrival to Turkey. As we will pass through Georgia, you will also need a visa for this country. There are different fees for different passport-holder nationalities; therefore, we ask you to contact us in advance to determine the different types and fees of visas that might be required. Our company itself typically makes electronic visas for Turkey.
What does the tour price include and what does not?
All our tour prices (except for Special tours) include: 2 meals in a day, transportation, accommodation, Armenian/English/Russian/German-speaking guide service, and sightseeing tickets. Our tour prices do not include visa fees for Turkey or Georgia and any additional tours which our groups can possibly add to their regular program.
Which kind of transportation do we use?
We use minibuses with 15-19 seats. They are all new Mercedes Sprinters or Volkswagen Crafters. Our drivers are professionals with years of experience. Every minibus is a separate group with its own guide to make your trip extraordinary.
How can we register for tours?
For preregistration you can use calls, Facebook or email. For final registration you need to make payment at least 3 days prior to the departure date of the tour. You should come to our office and also bring your passport or a copy of it. In some cases, a bank transfer can also be accepted.
Which currency should we use in Turkey?
The Turkish national currency is the Turkish lira (simply lira). 1 USD is equivalent to approximately 4.5 Turkish lira. You need to have USD or Euros for exchange in Turkey. Our guides will help you with exchange process. In most shops you will need to pay in lira, but in many gift shops you can use USD or Euros. You can also use ATMs (bank machines) in Turkey to obtain Turkish lira.
What kind of clothes should we wear in Turkey?
In Turkey, men and women are free to choose any kind of clothes. There are no restrictions or religious demands for women and men. For tours that include beaches, you can wear swimsuits.
Is roaming available in Turkey?
Yes, roaming for Armenian or other carriers is available in Turkey. Just check with your carrier for fees and roaming activation options.
Is it safe to travel to Turkey?
